1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sleep Simple for OURA (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Sleep Simple for OURA is a web application that connects to your Oura Ring account and provides personalised sleep coaching and recommendations based on your sleep data. The App is provided free of charge (or as otherwise stated at the time of access).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use this App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Oura Account & Authorisation

Use of the App requires a valid Oura Ring and Oura account. You must authorise the App to access your Oura data via the Oura OAuth process. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Oura account credentials. You may revoke access at any time through your Oura account settings.

5. Not Medical Advice

IMPORTANT: Sleep Simple for OURA provides general sleep coaching and informational recommendations only. Nothing in the App constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your health or sleep habits, particularly if you have an existing medical condition. Do not disregard professional medical advice because of something you have read in this App.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the App’s source code
  • Use automated tools to scrape or systematically access the App
  • Misuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the App’s functionality
  • Use the App to process another person’s Oura data without their consent

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and materials in the App are owned by or licensed to Sleep Simple for OURA. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our name, logo, or brand materials. “Oura” and the Oura Ring are trademarks of Oura Health Oy. We are not affiliated with Oura Health Oy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be available at all times or free of errors
  • Sleep recommendations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your individual needs
  • The App will be compatible with all devices or browsers

Your use of the App is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sleep Simple for OURA and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including but not limited to any health outcomes resulting from following recommendations displayed in the App.

10. Third-Party Services

The App depends on the Oura API, which is operated by Oura Health Oy. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or changes to the Oura API or Oura’s terms of service. Your use of Oura’s services is subject to Oura’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We are not liable to you for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuance.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
