Map X
MapX, Savannah Group’s proprietary tool, analyses over 80 million data points to rapidly identify top global leadership talent. Integrated into their executive search and talent intelligence services, it mimics expert insights to help businesses find high-calibre candidates faster.
I was brought in as product design lead to rapidly iterate the product MVP for launch to market. I carried out value proposition workshops, moderated user testing with teams from the likes of Airbnb and TripAdvisor as well as the UX and visual design of the product.
Problem Statement
Finding top leadership talent globally is slow and inefficient with traditional methods. Organisations need a faster, data-driven way to identify candidates. MapX aims to be a differentiator in helping talent teams rapidly shortcut laborious processes quickly delivering accurate insights into leadership talent worldwide.
Ideation
During the product ideation and development of the MapX website, the process was user-centric, with key input from industry leaders at companies like Airbnb and TripAdvisor, as well as Savannah’s CEO. These interviews provided deep insights into user needs and expectations, guiding the creation of a super simple, intuitive UX that prioritised functionality and ease of use.
The focus was on ensuring MapX could efficiently analyse vast data without overwhelming users, sticking to a minimal design that allowed the technology to shine while meeting user needs seamlessly. I ran various workshops including user journey mapping, value proposition creation and live, moderated user testing.
